00:07 were spotted together at the Caring Foundation's

00:10 second annual Caring for Women dinner

00:12 in New York City on September 12th.

00:14 The pair took photos separately on the red carpet

00:17 ahead of the event,

00:18 with Zoe posing with friend Selma Hayek,

00:20 but once inside, they cozied up together.

00:23 Zoe and Channing were photographed

00:24 sitting together at their dinner table,

00:26 and they posed with some of their A-lister friends,

00:28 including Juliet Garner, Tracee Ellis Ross,

00:31 and Beth Ann Hardison.

00:32 Oprah also posed for a photo with Zoe at the event,

00:35 and gave a passionate speech.

00:37 - So when you asked me to do this for Caring for Women,

00:41 I said yes, because I believe in the power of women people

00:46 caring for other women people throughout the world.

00:50 I will say that I have been on this crusade

00:54 for Caring for Women for decades.

00:58 In the 25 years of doing shows,

01:01 I actually asked someone on my team to count the other day,

01:04 and I did 128 shows on domestic violence.

01:09 We have the strength, we have the combined greatness

01:14 of standing together to touch many lives,

01:18 and by standing for those that cannot stand for themselves.

01:23 Something needs to be done about it,

01:25 and we are the ones to do it.

01:35 rocked a white sequined halter gown,

01:37 and had her hair slicked back into a high bun,

01:40 while the 43-year-old actor

01:42 opted for a simple all-black suit with no tie.

01:45 Channing and Zoe first met in 2021,

01:48 when she cast him in her directorial debut, Pussy Island,

01:51 which has not been released yet.

01:53 The couple have kept their romance out of the spotlight.

01:55 Their first public event was at the 2021 Met Gala.

01:58 They walked the stairs separately,

02:00 but were photographed

02:01 leaving the high fashion event together.

02:03 Last year, Zoe gave some rare details

02:06 about their life together in an interview with GQ,

02:08 telling the outlet, "He's just a wonderful human.

03:25 - Well, I think I was always so inspired

03:27 by seeing such complex, dangerous,

03:31 wild, playful women on screen,

03:34 and it's not often that we, oh, hello.

03:37 It's casual, it's Batman, it's whatever.

03:39 But we really don't get to see characters like that,

03:42 these kind of wonderfully freakish women,

03:46 and fully in their power and their sexuality.

03:50 And I was so inspired by how each one,

03:52 each and every one of them made the character their own,

03:55 and I was inspired to hopefully do the same.

03:58 - We're big in fashion at AXS,

04:01 so I have one of your other looks that we loved.

04:04 Can you break this down for me a little bit?

04:06 - Well, this was inspired by, this is YSL,

04:09 this is Saint Laurent, and this was a custom gown

04:12 that they made based off of another version

04:14 that Anthony put in the show.

04:16 And we just changed a little bit and made it a halter,

04:18 and I'm very lucky to, that's my family right there, YSL.
