And just like that, Honda’s Comfortable Runabout Vehicle has six generations. The all-new 2024 Honda CR-V finally arrives in the Philippine market, and there’s a hybrid variant available. Is this a sign that Honda Cars Philippines will slowly introduce electrification in its lineup?

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The latest CR-V comes in three variants, with prices ranging from P2,100,000 to P2,590,000. Aside from the hybrid powertrain, which exclusively powers the top-spec five-seater CR-V 2.0 RS e:HEV variant, there’s also the option of a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine propelling the two seven-seater versions. And aside from Honda Sensing being standard across the range, this generation of the CR-V also introduces Honda Connect—which uses Internet connectivity to allow various safety, service monitoring, and remote control features to be accessed via a smartphone—to the Philippine market.
