Gretchen Carlson Put Up With So Much At FOX News

This week, Gretchen Carlson filed a lawsuit against her former employer, FOX News CEO Roger Ailes, for sexual harassment. And he wasn’t the only one who made it an intolerable workplace.

00:12 So Gretchen Carlson was let go from Fox News this week, and she promptly filed a

00:16 lawsuit against its CEO Roger Ailes alleging widespread sexual harassment.

00:20 In the lawsuit, Carlson said that she was fired for refusing to sleep with Ailes.

00:24 She also said that she faced "disparaging treatment in the newsroom." We have proof

00:28 at least of that second part. Yesterday, Bloomberg Politics posted this

00:32 compilation of sexist remarks she faced while hosting Fox & Friends.

00:36 "Just look at her today. Beautiful dress. She looks wonderful."

00:39 "Brian, can you tell Gretchen she is definitely winning today. She looks amazing."

00:44 "Wow. Okay, because HR's on the phone because you called me a skirt."

00:47 "Yeah, I apologize. I gotta read that manual again."

00:54 Ailes denied the allegations in a statement and said,

00:56 "This is a retaliatory suit for the network's decision not to renew her

01:00 contract, which was due to the fact that her disappointingly low ratings were

01:04 dragging down the afternoon lineup." Her old show, The Real Story, is now hosted by

01:08 Shepard Smith. Gretchen Carlson has thanked her fans on Twitter with the

01:12 hashtag #StandWithGretchen. Daniel Lockerbie said, "I bet they're the type of

01:15 guys that pass each other little notes saying, 'Do you think she likes me?'"

01:18 Malsy Matters said, "This is being pervy, not complimenting. The fact that some men

01:23 can't distinguish the two explains why they are still virgins, most likely."
