Teen Saves the Day for Cheerleader with Military Dad

This high school senior noticed when one little girl was left out of a daddy-daughter event and stepped in to help!

00:03 Elementary school cheerleaders were recently performing

00:05 at a San Antonio high school,

00:06 and during their performance,

00:07 their dads came out and lifted them all on their shoulders.

00:10 Oh no, nine-year-old Addie got left out

00:12 because her dad is an airman serving in the military.

00:14 - Addie Rodriguez knows her dad is training in California.

00:17 He's a senior airman who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

00:21 - Thankfully, one high school senior noticed

00:23 and decided to take action.

00:25 Matthew Garcia took it upon himself to hop the fence

00:27 and ask Addie if he could put her on his shoulders.

00:30 Addie's mom says that that moment melted her heart

00:33 and so she started gushing all over Facebook.

00:39 "He should be commended for his thoughtfulness."

00:41 And what was her squad thinking that it didn't occur to them
