A record high rainfall in Shenzhen and the Greater Bay Area cities such as Guangzhou and Hong Kong has disrupted daily life. In Shenzhen, several Metro lines suspended operation and many areas were flooded. Schools were suspended city-wide and Luohu district announced the suspension of businesses today.
