PhilHealth owes hospitals P27B, vows to pay most of it in 3 months

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) owes some P27 billion in payables to local hospitals, its President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Emmanuel Ledesma Jr. admitted on Wednesday, Sept. 6 to the House Committee on Appropriations.
