Vincent Kompany will use international break to top-up physical fitness

Vincent Kompany wasn't used to last seasons international breaks where he still had the majority of his squad at the training ground and is happy that they're now away on international duty.

00:05 about 20, 25 players staying back and I was never used to that. I think for the entirety

00:10 of my career I've always been in squads where international break there's five players training

00:15 with the under-21s. I think we're getting to that stage now where I think nearly everyone's

00:21 going somewhere and some of the senior players will stay of course. So the international

00:27 break for us is just a moment to give some of them a little bit of a mental break or

00:32 a physical top-up and we can individualise it a little bit more, which is good for us.
