01:24 energy.

03:14 archaeological site dedicated to ancestor worship, with subterranean burial chambers
03:18 and human remains with ceramic offerings.
03:21 According to Japanese archaeologist Shinya Watanabe, the site dates from the Wari period,
03:26 between the 7th and 13th century AD, and is located in the Cajamarca region, 900 km north
03:33 of Lima.
03:34 The head of the Cajamarca's decentralized directorate of culture, Judith Padilla, on
03:38 the other hand, said that these findings help understand the lifestyle and ritual practices
03:42 of the ancient societies that inhabited the Peruvian territory in order to understand
03:47 current practices.
03:53 In Brazil, a collision between trucks on Saturday in the state of Paraná left at least seven
03:58 people dead and several injured.
04:00 According to state authorities, the accident was due to the collision of several trucks
04:03 that ran over several private vehicles on a highway in the district of São Luís do
04:08 Peruna, located in Val de Sanoa, a municipality in the metropolitan region of Curitiba.
04:13 Authorities also detailed that the accident may have occurred due to weather conditions
04:18 in the area, where it was raining and there was heavy fog.
04:26 In Chile, the regional conference "Dilemmas of Humanities" is underway.
04:29 A hundred representatives from popular movements and intellectuals from Latin America and the
04:34 Caribbean come together to discuss continental issues and a pathway into the future.
04:39 The conference, which will continue until September 4, was convened by ALBA Movimientos
04:43 and the International People's Assembly as a space for debate, reflection and interchange
04:48 of perspectives between different social sectors on how to build societies free from exploitation.
04:55 Among the key issues to be addressed are the construction of sovereignty and continental
04:58 unity to face imperialism and the battle of ideas for the construction of a socialist
05:02 project.
05:03 It is one of several regional talks being held around the world, which will then come
05:07 together at the third International Conference "Dilemmas of Humanities" to take place
05:11 in Johannesburg this October.
05:13 The event takes place within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the coup d'état
05:19 against Chilean President Salvador Allende and the popular unity process.
05:47 In a new episode of Venezuela on the Move, we travel to Guarena, a community east of
05:51 Caracas, the Venezuelan capital, where a family found a new source of income in goat breeding
05:57 during the storm brought on by COVID-19.
06:00 After that, what seemed to be a crazy adventure and temporal activity became their livelihood
06:03 and motivation.
06:05 Our colleagues Adriana Cibori and Jesús Romero went to their farm in the mountains and got
06:10 their story for us.
06:15 The work they, the kids, had done.
06:17 Every day this couple makes these goats who they consider to be part of their family,
06:23 from which they can attain 300 liters of milk per season.
06:27 For me they are women with four legs, because everything is the same, the breastfeeding
06:33 process, the birthing process, everything.
06:37 Goat milk is the most similar to maternal milk.
06:40 It has vitamins, less fat and is more digestible.
06:44 They sell their production, but they do not accept their sacrifice.
06:50 For us to give away an animal is hard.
06:54 As a business we have to give them away because we cannot overcrowd our barns.
07:02 But it's difficult.
07:03 We try to find people who take good care of animals and we give them recommendations.
07:08 They are not animals that can be grazed and fed.
07:12 They are animals of high dairy genetics.
07:14 They used to sleep in the barns, but now they have installed cameras in the birthing area
07:19 so they can control the goats when they are not there.
07:22 This way they can see what is happening on their device.
07:26 Victor is their assistant.
07:29 My thing is to work.
07:31 This way I earn more money and I can provide for my family.
07:38 The goats walk daily through these hills.
07:41 There are 75 of them and they receive complete care, that means every three months, in strict
07:46 sanitary control.
07:50 These 25 little goats do not lack supervision or feeding bottles.
07:55 They started with two goats to clean the land and that turned to a passion and made them
07:59 stay in the country.
08:03 First of all, it's a peace of mind that I have.
08:07 My daughters are still small and they are still studying.
08:12 This enterprise has helped me economically because my husband had a transportation company.
08:20 But when the pandemic started, construction was paralyzed.
08:26 And since we were at home, I told my family to come and help me with the work and we all
08:31 started to make the farm grow.
08:35 This was a window to the future.
08:37 People told me that I was crazy and I told them that I would have a good herd.
08:42 And well, here I am, producing.
08:45 In six years, this farm has managed to even produce French cheeses, which they sell to
08:51 gastronomic establishments in the capital.
08:53 Its next step is to become more technological.

09:36 Welcome back from the South.
09:39 Former Italian Prime Minister Giuliano Amato accused France of having accidentally brought
09:43 down an Italian airline's passenger aircraft that crashed over the Mediterranean in 1980.
09:50 Amato's statement was made on Saturday in an interview to the press, in which he said
09:54 that a French Air Force missile accidentally shot the passenger jet in a failed bid to
09:59 assassinate Libya's then leader, Mohammed Gaddafi.
10:03 The Libyan leader was supposed to be flying on a military jet heading from Yugoslavia
10:07 to a conference in Tripoli.
10:10 Amato also contended that the Italian government tipped off Gaddafi about the assassination
10:14 attempt, resulting in Libya's leader not boarding his plane.
10:18 The Italian passenger aircraft was flying from Bologna to Palermo on June 27, 1980,
10:23 with 81 people aboard.

10:32 Flight 870 from Italian Airlines took off from Bologna to Palermo on June 27, 1980.
10:38 One hour into the scheduled flight, the plane disappeared from radar screens.
10:42 Several hours after the wreckage of the aircraft was discovered on the Tyrrhenian Sea off the
10:47 island of Ustica, near Sicily, Italian investigators have attempted for years to understand what
10:53 led to the crash, the remains of the TC-9 plane having been placed back together and
10:58 inspected in Rome.
10:59 Theories on what caused the failed flight have gone from believing it was the result
11:03 of a terror attack to mechanical or structural failure.
11:06 However, George Rosario Priori claimed the truth about the plane crash was hidden by
11:10 the Italian government and members of the Secret Service.
11:19 Pope Francis led a holy mass in Mongolia's capital on Sunday and urged Catholics in China

11:43 Tung-Hun, the 86-year-old Pope said they joined him to send a warm greeting to the noble Chinese
11:49 people.
11:50 On Saturday, Francis appeared to send a more tacit message, telling a gathering of Catholic
11:54 missionaries that governments had nothing to fear from the Catholic Church.
11:59 According to experts, Pope Francis' visit seeks to bring the Church's message to remote,
12:03 largely ignored areas where Catholicism is young and unfamiliar, and to improve relations
12:08 with Beijing.
12:09 "He really wants to visit China.
12:15 He gave prominence to the Cardinal and Bishop from Hong Kong, which shows that one day he
12:21 will want to visit mainland China.
12:23 I'm really touched."

14:07 2,000 of whom still don't have electricity, and 10,000 lack telephone and internet service.
14:12 Local authorities report that the damage caused by the flames is estimated at $6 billion.

14:37 Eruptions of the Uvinas volcano in Peru have made the government extend for 60 days the

14:47 Local authorities said the extension will take effect as from September 4 due to what
14:52 they call a moment of imminent danger.
14:54 The Geological Mining and Metallurgical Institute reported that the volcanic plume rose some
14:59 4,000 meters above the crater and recommended residents to stay more than four kilometers
15:05 away from the area.
15:27 Welcome back from the south.

16:03 a military base housing the French soldiers.
16:05 Demonstrators once again spoke out against France, whose diplomats and troops refused
16:09 to leave the country.
16:11 Nigerians also reiterated their full support for the military government, whose authorities
16:15 on Friday spoke out against Paris for backing ousted President Mohamed Basu, and they accused
16:21 France of flagrant interference in Niger's domestic affairs while seeking to perpetrate
16:26 neo-colonial rule.
16:28 In Israel, more than 150 people were injured during a demonstration of Eritrean migrants
16:36 in Tel Aviv.

18:35 September 3 marks the 83rd birthday of Uruguayan intellectual Eduardo Galeano, one of the most
18:42 influential writers in Latin America.
18:45 Galeano was born on September 3, 1940, in Montevideo, Uruguay.

19:10 The book had an important impact on several generations since it showed a history of Latin
