Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam won the 2023 presidential election by a resounding 70.4% of the vote, Singaporeans delivering a resounding mandate for the 66-year-old former senior minister.
His rivals in the election Mr Ng Kok Song and Mr Tan Kin Lian received 15.72 per cent and 13.88 per cent of the vote respectively.
