Task force to tackle anti social behaviour in Newcastle launches. Over 41,000 trees planted this year across the North East. A Northumbria University academic has said working on the Special Olympics has brought life changing memories.

00:07 during the summer in Newcastle. Funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner's Violence

00:11 Reduction Unit and the Council, the task force will be out and about engaging with young people

00:16 across the city centre, parks and other green spaces to try and reduce anti-social behaviour.

00:22 Over 41,000 new trees have been planted across the region thanks to the North East

00:26 Community Forest during this year's planting season. The group have said that almost 1,200

00:32 volunteers helped plant the trees and hedgerows this year, which have covered the equivalent of

00:36 70 football pitches. And finally, a Northumbria University academic has said working on the

00:41 Special Olympics has brought life-changing memories. Dr Daniel Monk was the lead medical

00:46 officer for Team Special Olympics GB this year and is now encouraging others to volunteer to
