Almost half of workers in Melbourne’s outer suburbs ‘overqualified’

A snapshot of life in Melbourne’s outer suburbs has found almost half of workers are overqualified for their jobs. Its prompted calls for the state government to move some of its services away from the CBD. Research has found as Melbourne’s fringe has expanded; fewer jobs are available to residents within a half-hour commute.
