Deputy Ignores EMS Call, Harasses Motorists Instead - January 11, 2023

On January 11th, 2023, Caldwell Parish Sheriff's Office deputies were advised of an EMS call. One deputy acknowledged the call but instead of responding to it, proceeded to stop and harass pedestrians and motorists. The other deputy never acknowledged the call or responded to the dispatcher, likely because he was conducting an illegal traffic stop and vehicle search (that he didn't radio in) and didn't have his portable radio on. (Yes, that's a real thing that happens here).
