Russia, China conduct joint naval war games

Footages released by the Russian Defence Ministry on Friday show what it says are Russian and Chinese navy vessels participating in joint maritime patrols in the Pacific Ocean involving rescue training and anti-airstrike drills.

Ties between Moscow and Beijing have grown closer in recent years, as prolonged fighting in Ukraine has shattered Russia's relationship with Western governments. (Video Courtesy of AFP)
