00:07 Vera is a trooper and she hasn't had children and that's the way it's gone.

00:18 But she doesn't dwell on it. She's gone, "Right, let's get in there, let's troop on, let's

00:23 have a bit of life, let's go down to the MFI and have some lovey-dovey."

00:27 You know, a bit like me actually.

00:34 I think there would be

00:36 the audience would be carried away with the title first of all, Brastoff.

00:40 And they probably think, "Oh, this is going to be fun."

00:43 But they're in for a surprise

00:44 because it's three-dimensional, it's got everything in it.

00:48 You've got the music, you've got an incredible story,

00:53 and this

00:54 fantastic,

00:56 clever,

00:58 subtle humour.

01:02 There's tremendous humanity between

01:06 us as a cast. We feel

01:10 quite similar about things, I think. I've got this feeling at the moment that we

01:13 understand each other and we care about each other.

01:16 There's a kindness there and there's a generosity there.

01:20 And I think that would help us in our characters.

01:23 I mean, I just think

01:25 possibly this is the best cast I've worked with. I'm three days in,

01:29 okay?

01:31 You know, I may be speaking too soon,

01:33 but I can see now they are so, so talented.

01:39 Come and see Brastoff.

01:41 Not only are you going to have the music, which is probably the most

01:47 talked about thing, but the actual story

01:49 is fantastic. It's about a community

01:52 that

01:54 are trying to survive through

01:57 the things that have been hit towards them,

02:00 the money thing, the strike that was in 1984, and now there's a ballot.

02:07 It's all about

02:09 the brass band trying to survive. If the brass band goes,

02:13 and if

02:14 the pit goes, what are they going to do? It's their livelihood.

02:20 The shows that I've put on here are

02:22 first class absolutely and I'm privileged to be here.
