First temporary shelter removed from Eugowra amid flood recovery

The Central West town of Eugowra in NSW has reached a milestone in its recovery from disastrous floods last year. The town's first pod home has been removed, with one resident returning to their property after extensive repairs. About 90 pod homes - which are transportable units - remain in the town as temporary housing solutions, and questions remain about why flood victims haven't been afforded access to the same programs offered to those affected by the northern rivers flooding event.
