00:06 What are the sort of objectives moving forward long term this season for Man United?

00:15 United had a really good season last year under Tenhag.

00:18 He, you know, considering where they were when he came in,

00:22 there was real progression, real development to win a cup competition.

00:26 The first one they've won since 2017 was a fantastic achievement.

00:29 I think to get the final of another cup, the quarterfinals of a third,

00:33 you know, and then get back in the Champions League, finish third in the division,

00:37 I think that's a really good season.

00:38 There were obviously some down points in it.

00:40 I think the habit of kind of collapsing in matches and losing by big,

00:46 significant scorelines is one area that they need to address this season.

00:49 They can't have seven nils and six threes and four nil losses.

00:53 That's just not acceptable for United.

00:54 So I think they need to iron out those issues.

00:57 And I think that this season they'll want, again, cup runs.

01:00 I mean, they're not going to win the league.

01:02 Well, I don't think so anyway.

01:04 But I think some good cup runs could be important for them.

01:09 And I think that in my eyes, this isn't the season,

01:11 the challenge for the title for United.

01:12 But I think that we want in 12 months from a United perspective

01:15 to be talking about a side who could potentially challenge to win the league.

01:19 I think that's going to be the aim for Tenhag this year,

01:21 to essentially close the gap to certainly City at the top of the league,

01:25 but if not, potentially Arsenal as well.

01:27 So that's kind of how I view United going into the season.

01:30 I think that as well, Tenhag is starting to get his philosophy across more.

01:34 I think the signings of Anan and Mount are actually massive for that as well.

01:38 And I think that if they can...

01:40 Yeah, I think that at the end of this season,

01:42 we want to have a real clear perspective and understanding

01:45 of what exactly it is that Tenhag wants

01:47 and Tenhag is trying to get out of this team.

01:49 And I think that would be another sign of improvement.

01:51 And just to keep developing on last year,

01:53 I think is the main aim for United going into the 2023/24 season.
