Meet up and coming Blackpool star Kitty Harris!

Singer, actress and TikToker Kitty, the daughter of the late Blackpool ventriloquist Keith Harris, is performing in her hometown next week in the musical 'Greatest Days'.

00:48 I remember getting the call and I was like, "Oh my gosh, this is the perfect role for me."

00:55 And it's Northern, so I get to be in my own accent, which is amazing.

01:00 And I just think it's a great first job, like first starter for me in this industry.

01:06 I just can't wait to get to Blackpool, because obviously, hometown, it'll be nice to see some familiar faces in the audience.

01:23 And I know that they'll all be dead proud to watch.

01:26 It's just crazy because I remember going to the Winter Gardens, watching shows when I was young.

01:32 And I even remember at the start of this year, going to watch, I think I watched Mamma Mia.

01:36 And I was like, "Wow, I just want to be in, like, that would be so amazing to do that."

01:40 And then here I am doing it. So it's like, really cool. Really cool.

01:49 It's an uplifting show. And it's very heartwarming as well. And it's a great story.

01:55 The story is incredible. I'd say, like, obviously, if you like Take That as well, bonus, because the music's fantastic.

02:02 And if you don't like Take That, you'd still enjoy it, because the focus isn't Take That, really.

02:08 It's about these girls. And it's like, women will come out of it and they'll be like,

02:13 I feel like I was watching myself. And they were like, "I've related so much." And it's funny. It's hilarious.

02:20 So it's, honestly, it's like this, like a whirlwind of emotions.

02:23 But you'll have a great time. And everybody's always up dancing at the end, giving you Never Forget and all that.

02:29 It's great. It's honestly brilliant. So, yeah, I'd say it's definitely one to watch.

02:39 I've always done dancing, singing from a young age. I was never forced into it. I always wanted to do it.

02:46 I was always there. And I watched a lot of shows. I remember watching my dad from, like I said,

02:52 as soon as I was born, apparently. I was in the show the next day. Not in the show, but I was watching him.

02:57 And so I think it's just in my blood. I can't really explain it that much.

03:02 It's just kind of something I love doing. And I feel so passionate. And obviously, because of his passing,

03:08 now it makes me feel like I'm with him even more. It makes me very proud to be on stage every night.

03:16 Yeah, it does. So I think kind of just with him and being around it all, it's just second nature.

03:23 It's all I've known, really.
