Over 2,000 Evacuated in Taiwan as Typhoon Doksuri Passes the Country

Over 2,000 people have been evacuated from mountainous areas in southeast Taitung, eastern Hualien and southern Kaohsiung. The evacuations come as heavy rains brought by Typhoon Doksuri caused landslides and closures in the areas.
