‘Egay’ maintains strength, now outside PH area of responsibility

Typhoon Egay (international name: Doksuri) left the country’s area of responsibility at 8 a.m., Thursday, July 27, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Egay was last seen 255 kilometers west of Itbayat, Batanes, with maximum sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 185 kph.
