Typhoon Egay makes landfall in Aparri, Cagayan — PAGASA

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the center of the eye of typhoon Egay (international name: Doksuri) has made landfall over Fuga Island, Aparri, Cagayan at 3:10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26.

In the PAGASA’s 2 a.m. bulletin, Egay maintained its maximum sustained winds of 175 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 240 kph, while moving towards the extreme Northern Luzon.
