01:16 Brandon prepares to move to the Philippines

01:18 to be with Mary.

01:19 And he reveals he's going there

01:22 with only $250 in his pocket.

01:28 Mary and I decided to build a house

01:30 for ourselves in the Philippines.

01:32 There was a typhoon that destroyed her home

01:34 and over the past year,

01:36 all my paychecks that were coming in

01:38 were going straight to building the house

01:40 and to Mary.

01:41 It was close to like $50,000, $60,000.

01:45 I just barely scratched by.

01:48 So I got $250 in my bank account.

01:53 So good luck to me.

01:57 Yeah, I'm not big on luck,

01:59 but you're gonna need it.

02:01 He's moving to a country to be with a girl

02:03 whose emotions go all over the place,

02:06 over the tiniest things,

02:08 with barely a dime to his name.

02:45 The day has come for Brandon to leave

02:47 and as he approaches the airport,

02:49 reality starts to hit him.

02:51 He also wonders if his mom will show up

02:54 to say goodbye.

02:55 And she does.

03:09 I would be furious too.

03:11 This is my son I birthed into this world,

03:14 yet Mary is walking around like she owns him.

03:17 And she hasn't even met him in person yet.

03:24 A lot of the closeness that Brandon and I lost

03:35 And I can't blame him.

03:36 But once I got clean and sober,

03:44 And that's the hardest part about watching him go.

04:21 To appease Mary,

04:22 Brandon asked to be moved next to an empty seat.

04:26 But she still isn't satisfied.

04:29 She goes on to tell him,

04:32 And he's spending the little money he has

04:35 to fly to be with her.

04:36 - I don't think I deserve that.

04:40 - She then tells him

04:42 she doesn't want to live a life with him

04:44 and he doesn't belong with her in the Philippines.

04:47 You see what insecurities can do?

04:50 They will literally have you creating a story

04:52 in your head that isn't real.

04:55 Nothing about their situation is cute.

04:57 It's actually really bothersome.

05:07 - She's upset, but no one's sitting next to me, so.

05:49 These two right here need some sort of intervention ASAP.

06:23 The goal should be to work on freeing yourself

06:35 They are both allowing their insecurities

06:37 to rule this relationship, and they are calling it love.
