Before understanding the idea, from current research, we need to discuss a concept in nutshell. Probably you already know, that our left hemisphere of brain, is responsible for logical thinking, whereas, right brain is responsible for creative thinking. Both of the hemispheres is connected with neurons. If you are left-brained, you will be good in playing chess, mathematics, etc. Engineering, medical or scientific research, could be good profession for you. On the other hand, right-brained people will be good in painting, writing poetry, etc. Being an author, artist or filmmaker, could be better for them.
Now, let's come to the outputs of, different cuttings age research works, on the brain activities. MRI scans of general people, to celebrities, were conducted, while those subject people, were kept involve, in different kinds of brain activities, or, when they were placed, under thoughtful questions. These includes, The NIH Human Connectom Project of 2009, and the brain mapping of M. S. Dhoni, by IIM Ranchi in 2011. Researchers have gathered plenty of data regarding this, but, you will be surprised to know, that, all these researches, point to a single direction.
And, here is the catch. Researchers are saying that, the connection between the two hemispheres of the brain, is the most important. If, brilliant people are given to solve any logical problem, they send the problem to left brain; as we all will do. But, what they will do extra, is, to pass the thoughts of the left brain, through right brain too. That means, they will add some creative ideas, before executing the logical output of the left brain. The same way, if those people are given a question of creativity, of course they will solve it in right brain, but after that, they will analyze it logically also.
Now, how to develop or improve the neural connections inside the brain? It is seen that, the people who sleep well, who has better social skills have better neural connections. And, the people with negative emotions, such as anger, fear, frustration etc., have less connectivity inside brain.
You can understand it from this figure also. The left and right circles represent the logical and emotional thoughts respectively. And, the overlapping zone is known as the wisdom or wiseness.
So, next time onwards, take your decision wisely, analyze every problem logically, but apply with creativity. Develop your own ideas, but before applying, scrutinize it logically too.
