Firefighters faced "difficult conditions" tackling a blaze at a hotel in Brighton, as high winds raised "significant smoke".Fifteen appliances attended the fire, which was reported just before 5.30pm on Saturday. At 5am on Sunday the East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said it was "scaling back operations", but six appliances and two aerial ladder platforms remained on the scene.
