00:00 Hello, I'm Sam Wharton. I'm here with Henry Bryant. We're reporters for Sussex World and we've just been speaking to Roberto Di Serbi
00:06 at Brighton's training ground in Lansing. He's been looking ahead to Saturday's game against Nottingham Forest
00:11 which comes after the international break and it's been a tough time for Brighton of late with lots of injuries to contend with.
00:17 The international break obviously came at a good time, but not everyone is fit.
00:21 We've heard that Lewis Stunkey's back, which is brilliant news.
00:24 Lamptey might also make an appearance for the first time since the draw at Marseille.
00:28 Jakub Moda could even make an appearance tomorrow.
00:30 But the game comes too soon for Karim Atoma, which is obviously a huge blow.
00:35 Esteban might face a lengthy period on the sidelines with a bad leg injury.
00:41 Igor is also a doubt we found out today.
00:44 So lots of problems for Brighton, obviously, who already have lost Julio Enciso and Solih March, long-term injuries, as well as Danny Welbeck.
00:50 So lots of problems for Brighton. But Henry, how would you assess that, chat with Di Serbian and what we found out?
00:57 So the first question that got asked was really about the team news and the injuries that Sam's just mentioned.
01:03 And I also asked him a question about the fact that it's now the international break that's finished.
01:08 Games starting up this game on Saturday.
01:11 And if he needed to motivate his players and he said he doesn't need to do that because we are Brighton.
01:16 Well, there were also talks about the FA warning.
01:20 It seems like it's not really a warning.
01:23 It seems like it's just been a sort of communication from the FA to Brighton.
01:28 Nothing more than that, it seems so far.
01:31 So that was really what we got out of that.
01:33 We saw that Buleba could potentially be playing in this next fixture.
01:38 We've got Jakob Moder that will be sitting on the bench for this fixture.
01:41 Di Serbi revealed that he'll be playing maybe about 20 minutes or so for this game.
01:46 So there's a lot going on, really.
01:48 A lot of injuries, like you mentioned, but also the hopeful sign of Jakob Moder coming back into the squad.
01:55 And how much of a difference can he make?
01:56 He's obviously been out for such a long time.
01:58 He's never played under Di Serbi.
02:00 So it's almost like a new signing for them, isn't it?
02:02 Absolutely.
02:03 And Di Serbi also mentioned that they haven't got a midfielder like him at the club because he likes to run at the attackers.
02:10 And he's someone that probably Di Serbi's been keeping a keen eye on.
02:14 So he seemed very much like he was looking forward to his return.
02:18 He did smile when that question was asked at the presser.
02:21 Yeah, absolutely.
02:22 And Nottingham Forest, obviously a really tough game.
02:24 And obviously they're going to be without their top goalscorer, Tayo Awonyi.
02:27 So they've obviously got a big injury problem there.
02:30 But how much of a test is this for Brighton?
02:31 How important is it that they end this winless run in the league?
02:35 Well, I think it's vital.
02:36 Di Serbi called it the crucial part of the season.
02:39 He said it was tougher than he envisaged it being when he looked at the whole forefront of the season at the very start.
02:46 But one thing he did say was he knows his players need to fight.
02:51 And in terms of Nottingham Forest, they had a 3-2 loss before the international break.
02:57 And it was an unlucky one, a loss away to West Ham.
03:00 So they're a team that have been excited and they're a team that Di Serbi also rated.
03:05 And he said that they are someone that, some team, sorry, that are to be watched out for.
03:12 Yeah.
03:13 Thank you for watching and stay tuned for all the reaction and updates from the press conference at sussexworld.co.uk.
03:19 We'll see you then.
