Residents of Lidcombe in Sydney's west are fighting to stop a proposed organic waste facility from being built in their neighbourhood. The development aims to play a role in recycling large amounts of food and garden matter, but families are concerned it will lead to excessive traffic congestion and unpleasant odours.
