On July 12, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal urged people residing in low-lying areas near the Yamuna River to evacuate as soon as possible. Yamuna river swelled to a record-breaking level on July 12, reported NDTV. CM Kejriwal said, “People in low-lying areas near the need to be evacuated.” On July 12, Yamuna shot up to 207.71 meters.
