The Holyrood Dog of the Year competition got underway this morning (June 26) outside the Scottish Parliament building
This year 13 MSPs took part in the event that is organised by The Kennel Club and The Dog Trust.
This year’s competition aims to highlight how the cost of living crisis impacts on both dogs and dog owners as well as the mental health benefits that come from looking after a cuddly canine.
