An English Springer Spaniel left paraylsed from head to tail by tetanus has made a remarkable recovery.

Disturbing video shows two-year-old Rusty struggling to walk and shaking uncontrollably after he was rushed to a vet.

The adorable pooch had contracted life-threatening tetanus which caused him to suffer muscle spasms, stiff limbs and hyperthermia.

His worried owners took him to Linnaeus-owned Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service in Solihull, West Mids., for treatment.

He spent three weeks in intensive care while staff gave him round-the-clock care and support.

Despite his poorly condition, Rusty made a full recovery with heartwarming footage showing him bounding around the animal hospital.
