TEACHERS COMPLAIN OVER 'INEDIBLE' RICE

More and more public school teachers are complaining about receiving 25-kilo bags of spoiled, inedible rice, which were part of a one-time 'Rice allowance'. Some teachers expressed their frustration and disappointment on how 'lowly' the government regarded them as public school teachers by giving them such degrading 'Rice allowance'. ACT Teachers' Party-list representative France L. Castro has filed a House resolution to investigate these incidents.
