Stan Shaw Memorial Trail

Kevan Shaw son of Stan Shaw was the last cutler or 'little mester', who made knives for the Queen and carried the cutler's tradition until his death in 2021 after 80 years forging, grinding and finishing blades. Now, after a fundraising appeal raised £16k, a heritage trail app is to be launched (in September hopefully) to take in the many places he worked and his workshop on the cobbled streets at Kelham Island.
