00:11 Hey guys! So today I'm going to be showing you this Kim Kardashian inspired makeup look.
00:16 Now I know, I know everyone does Kim Kardashian smokey eyes, but I haven't done a Kim Kardashian
00:22 smokey eye on my channel yet. And I was scrolling through my Pinterest and I was like, "Whoa,
00:26 what is this?" And I found this picture of Kim and I was like, "I'm doing this." It's
00:30 gold, it's smokey, it's right up my alley, and a lot of you guys have been asking for
00:34 like a more gold smokey eye for night time, so I figured this would be perfect. So I hope
00:39 you guys enjoy this tutorial. If you do, please don't forget to thumbs up this video and subscribe.
00:44 I love Kim's makeup, I think it's always bomb, so if you want to see how I got this look,
00:50 then please keep watching.

00:54 So first I'm going to start off with my eyebrows. Kim is known for her perfect eyebrows, in
00:59 my opinion. They're very full yet natural, so I'm going to start with this brow powder
01:03 from Anastasia. And then I'm going to go in with this brow pencil that is from Sigma that's
01:08 new. I can't put this pencil down. It gives you a lot of definition without looking fake,
01:13 without looking too harsh, and I absolutely love it. I will link this product down below.
01:17 And I'm going to be drawing them in a little bit thicker and a little bit straighter than
01:21 I usually do. I'm going to go through this part pretty quickly because I do have a brow
01:24 routine on my channel, so if you're interested, I'll also link that. But I'm doing the same
01:28 kind of process, just using different products.
01:30 (music)
01:35 Moving on to the eyes, I'm going to first prime them with Soft Ochre Paint Pot by MAC.
01:39 Surprise, surprise. This is just going to prime our lids, make the shadow show more
01:44 vibrantly, and also last a little bit longer.
01:47 (music)
01:50 First color I'm going to use is called Taupe from the Lorac Pro Palette. I'm going to take
01:55 this on a Sigma E40 blending brush back and forth in the crease, and this is going to
01:59 be our blending, or also known as a transition shade. It's going to help all the darker colors
02:05 just effortlessly blend upwards.
02:07 (music)
02:11 Next, I'm going to be taking Woodwinked by MAC, and I'm going to put this from the inner
02:15 part of the lid and work it to about the center. In the picture of Kim, she has a lighter gold
02:21 that fades into a copper, so that's what I'm doing first, is laying that down with my favorite
02:25 lid brush, which is the Sigma E58.
02:28 Then I'm going to take this shade called Glamorous by Makeup Geek, and I'm going to put this
02:32 on the outer portion of the lid. It's going to kind of get covered up with eyeshadow in
02:36 a second, but in the picture, the bronze fades from a lighter gold to a darker one, so I
02:41 wanted to add that in next.
02:43 Now I'm going to use the shade Espresso from the Lorac Pro palette, and I'm just going to
02:47 apply this with a Sigma E25 blending brush on the outer portion of the eye and work it
02:52 inwards. You want to be really gentle with this part, if that makes sense. You want to
02:56 let the very tips of the brush touch your eye, and it's going to help it blend a lot
03:00 more beautifully and a lot easier. So I'm going to focus that on the outer corner and
03:04 work it inwards in little tiny circular motions.
03:07 Now I'm going to take some of the black shade in the palette and do the same thing, but
03:23 bring the color a little bit farther down the lid and a little bit farther inwards.
03:27 We're going to kind of cover up the outer edge of our eye with these dark shades, so
03:31 just do it slowly. Build up the color. Take your time. Don't rush it. Working with hard
03:36 shades can be a little bit messy, so take your time. And I'm just going to kind of pat
03:40 it on the lid and blend it inwards like I said.
04:02 Then I'm going to go back to my E40 brush and a little bit of that taupe color and just
04:06 blend out any harsh lines. And then I'm also going to touch up the gold on the inner corner.
04:15 Now I'm going to take this black kohl and smudge it on the outer edge of the lash line,
04:23 and then I'm also going to take a little bit of a liquid liner right on top just for a
04:27 little bit of definition.
04:29 Now I'm going to be going to NARS Coconut Grove, which is my ride or die dark shade.
04:38 I always seem to use it. I'm just going to intensify that outer corner even more.
04:43 Now I'm going to clean up the outer edges of the eyeshadow. This is really important
04:48 for this look because we're not doing a cat eye, so it's just going to make it look really
04:51 crisp. Now I'm going to apply some false lashes, but first I'm using mascara just to pump up
04:56 the lashes even more because hers are really dramatic. And for my lashes I'm using House
05:01 of Lashes glue with Velour lashes. How many times can I say lashes? And the ones that
05:06 I'm using are called Girl You Crazy. And the reason I'm using House of Lashes glue is because
05:10 it's latex free, and I think I've become allergic to latex because the duo started aggravating
05:15 my eyes. This is the second tube of House of Lashes that I've gone through, and it's
05:19 by far my favorite.
05:20 Now for the face, first I'm going to use the NYX Angel Veil Primer. You guys, I've been
05:25 obsessed with this this month. I think it might be an affordable dupe for my Hourglass
05:29 Primer. I'll keep you updated. Then for the foundation, I'm using Giorgio Armani Luminous
05:34 Silk Foundation in my tan shade since I am tanner, but you guys know I don't tan my face.
05:39 And I'm going to apply it with my Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki Brush. If you guys still want
05:43 a review on this foundation and demo, please let me know in the comments, but I've been
05:47 really loving it, and I love how natural it looks on the skin, and I feel like Kim's skin
05:51 is always naturally flawless, so I wanted to use this foundation.
05:55 For concealer, I'm using the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. It's going to highlight
05:59 the face, but not too dramatically. So I'm going to apply this everywhere I want my features
06:04 to stand out a little bit more, so in the center of the face. And then I'm going to
06:08 blend it out with the Sigma Tapered Kabuki Brush, which I love with this concealer. These
06:13 two are a match made in heaven.
06:16 Now I'm going to set all the concealer with my Diffused Light Powder from Hourglass. You
06:31 guys know I love this, and it's just going to make sure the concealer doesn't budge and
06:34 it stays vibrant. Then I'm going to use this banana powder just to set the rest of my face.
06:38 Kim actually does use this, and I've been using this for years. It's perfect for absorbing
06:42 any excess oils and making your makeup stay put.
06:45 For bronzer, I'm using Bronze Goddess from Estee Lauder. This is another product I can't
06:50 explain to you guys how much I love. You'll definitely be seeing this in my monthly favorites.
06:54 It's a rosy bronze shade, and it just makes my face glow. But I'm going to contour with
07:00 this powder in the hollows of my cheeks, around my forehead, my nose, and my jawline. Kim
07:04 is also known for her contour. She always has it going on, so I wanted to make sure
07:08 my contour game was strong in this video.
07:12 Then for the cheekbones, I'm going to use this BB+ from Gerard Cosmetics. I absolutely
07:22 love this stuff. You've seen me use it before. It just makes you glow from within, and I
07:27 mean, I just can't. Every time I wear it, it's just perfection.
07:32 Then for blush, I'm going to use Peaches by MAC. It looks like she has a corally, natural
07:43 glow in the picture, so I figured this one would be perfect.
07:46 And to apply, I'm going to use my favorite blush brush, which is the Sigma F40. I've
07:50 been getting a lot of questions of what my favorite blush brush is, especially on my
07:54 Makeup Geek Blushes video, and it's definitely this one.
07:57 This step is optional, but I'm going to set the highlight with the Bobbi Brown Beige Shimmer
08:03 Brick, another product you guys have heard me rave about, and just apply that on the
08:07 high points.
08:08 Now for the lower lash line. This is another really important step. I'm using that same
08:12 kohl. This one's by Buxom. It's called Call Me. I love this eyeliner. It's my favorite
08:17 black. It doesn't budge, and I have contacts. And it's also really smudgeable, so it's perfect
08:22 for this step.
08:23 I'm going to bring the black a little bit lower on the lash line and use a pencil brush
08:26 and some of that NARS Coconut Grove just to really smudge and intensify that lower lash
08:31 line. And this is really going to make the look.
08:34 Then I'm going to take the Sigma E38 Diffused Crease. It's a smaller version of my big blending
08:39 brush just to diffuse the lines a little bit more so it's not too harsh.
08:43 Then I'm going to take some of that Illuminator by Bobbi Brown right on the inner corners.
08:48 You want to make sure to add mascara to the lower lashes. Kim's are really long, so I'm
08:52 using this one by It Cosmetics.
08:55 Moving on to the lip color, I'm going to take MAC Lip Erase in the shade Dim to mute out
08:59 my pigmentation. And then I'm going to line and fill in my lips with the color Strip Down
09:04 by MAC. It's my favorite neutral lip liner, and it's just going to make my lips look a
09:07 little bit fuller and add a base for our lipstick.
09:21 Then I'm going to take Myth Lipstick by MAC. This is a really pale nude, but it's perfect
09:26 for mixing with glosses and other lip colors.
09:28 And the one I'm going to mix it with is this Dior Fluid Stick in the shade Whisper Beige.
09:36 You guys, this is such a beautiful lip color, and I love the formula. It stays glossy and
09:42 it's really long-wearing. It's kind of similar to the YSL Glossy Stains, but a million times
09:47 better. And it doesn't get dry. It's really hydrating.
09:51 If you don't want to splurge on Dior, Whitening Lightning's Nude Gloss is so similar. I'll
09:57 link them down below with a coupon. And if you want a drugstore option, the L'Oreal Lip
10:01 Gloss in Nude Ballet is very similar as well.
10:04 Then the final step is to set your work with a setting spray.
10:07 So here's the finished look. I hope you guys enjoyed it and you'll try it out. I would
10:12 absolutely love to see your recreations, so tweet me, hashtag me, Instagram me, Facebook
10:18 me. You guys know the deal. I love you all so much. Thank you as always for watching,
10:24 and I will catch you in my next video. Bye!
10:27 Without looking fake, without looking too harsh, and I absolutely love it. I will link
10:40 this product down below. And I'm going to be drawing them in a little bit thicker and
10:44 a little bit straighter than I usually do. I'm going to go through this part pretty quickly
10:47 because I do have a brow routine on my channel. So if you're interested, I'll also link that.
10:52 But I'm doing the same kind of process, just using different products.
10:55 Moving on to the eyes, I'm going to first prime them with Soft Ochre Paint Pop by MAC.
11:04 Surprise, surprise. This is just going to prime our lids, make the shadow show more
11:09 vibrantly, and also last a little bit longer.
