Commonwealth settles $132.7 million class action over PFAS contamination across Australia

The Commonwealth will pay out another $130 million to people affected by the toxic firefighting foam known as PFAS. Up to 30,000 residents living near seven defence force bases could be eligible for the latest settlement, but those with contaminated properties that are now worth nothing say the money won't be enough.
