00:00 Hi guys, Richard Blaine here, thanks for stopping by my Easy Cooking channel and Easy Cooking
00:10 blog tonight.
00:11 Here I am, it's Las Vegas, Nevada, it's been an average of 101 to 107, plus minus 25 to
00:20 40 percent humidity for the last week.
00:23 And I want to cook something for dinner, but to tell you the truth, if you think I want
00:28 to light this puppy up right now, you're out of your mind, it's just too darn hot.
00:33 So I thought, what can I make tonight?
00:36 So I thought I would make another cool, refreshing, summer style salad.
00:43 So tonight I'm going to make another Thai dish, it's called Yum Woon Sen, and it's a
00:50 Thai salad made with mung bean thread, or cellophane noodle, glass noodle, whatever
00:56 you want to call it, and dried shrimp, and some chili and garlic and some other stuff
01:01 like that.
01:02 And you can serve it hot, or you can serve it cool, but the best part is, I don't have
01:07 to turn on this oven and create more heat in here.
01:10 So as usual with YouTube, 15 minutes, let's get going, and I'll see you on the other side.
01:18 Okay guys, when making Yum Woon Sen, the first thing I like to do is, I like to make the
01:27 salad dressing, because I want those flavors to marinate.
01:32 So what I'm going to do is, I'm going to put some molasses in a bowl.
01:38 Now usually this recipe calls for some white sugar.
