Cinema guide: George Foreman biopic and more movie picks

  • last year
Big George Foreman traces life of the fighter from 'throwaway kid' to world champion. The incredible true story of an athlete for the ages, George Tillman's retelling of one of the greatest comebacks of all time follows Foreman through his journey to regain the championship at age forty five, becoming the oldest heavyweight champion in boxing history.

Next - described as a 'nifty tech thriller that raises the bar' is Missing, the standalone sequel to the twenty eighteen flick Searching. Performing well with critics - getting an 87% approval rating online, this one is the tale of a girl searching for her missing mother using her digital sleuthing skills and the entirety of the onscreen action takes place within the confines of a computer screen.

And finally - not for the faint of heart is Evil Dead Rise. A reunion between two estranged sisters turns nasty as they're forced to face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable. Think less dinner with the in laws and more flesh possessing demons - yikes. Also a high scorer with critics, the fifth instalment to the franchise hasn't disappointed horror fans.
