The haze that is currently affecting the country is caused by peat fires and open burning, says Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.

The Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change Minister said that on Saturday (April 15), adding that various government agencies have been fighting peat fires in Kampung Beoh, Beris Lalang subdistrict in Bachok, Kelantan since March 27.
