Thousand of runners from the North West and beyond will be counting down the days until marathon race day along the streets of Manchester.
The Adidas Manchester Marathon takes place on Sunday April 16 and this year there will be 28,000 participants running through areas of the city centre and Greater Manchester.
The 26.2 mile race across the city-region has been the second largest marathon in the UK for some time and is the fourth largest in Europe.
