The man tasked with investigating serious allegations of misconduct by Australian Special Forces in Afghanistan, will become the nation's first anti-corruption commissioner. The federal government wants Paul Brereton in the role by the middle of the year, after politicians from across the political spectrum gave his appointment the green light.
