A brand new Co-op Academy Secondary school opened just outside of Manchester City Centre at the beginning of this year.
Co-op Academy Belle Vue welcomed its first group of students in Years seven and eight when it opened its doors in January 2023.
The school will see more students walking the halls each September for the next five years, as a brand new year group will join every Autumn term.
The site includes modern facilities such as a bespoke Drama department and dance studio - designed by the Co-op Academy Trust - as well as high-tech Product Design rooms and Science rooms.
We spoke to people involved in bringing this school to life.
