His name is ``Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Musa Khwarazmi'', he belonged to Khwarazm, some historians wrote his birth in 780. However, he was in the time of al-Mamun, he lived in Baghdad.

The reason for Khwarazmi's fame is his works more than him and he emerged famous in mathematics and astronomy, he was associated with Caliph al-Ma'mun who respected him well, he was also associated with "Bayt al-Hikmah" and was considered among the most reliable scientists and scholars.

He died in some year after 232 AH. He died in 850 AD.

Al-Zeij al-Awwal, Al-Zeij al-Thani, popularly known as "Al-Sind Hind",

And the famous "Kitab al-Jabr wal-Maqwaba" which he wrote for solving people's daily needs and issues such as inheritance, will, distribution, trade, buying and selling, currency exchange, rent, practically land.
