Overseas parties must engage local players before imposing a set of standards for the plantation sector, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
Fadillah, who is also the Plantation and Commodities Minister, said Malaysia is committed to taking care of the environment as well as labour welfare in the sector.
