The past six months have seen police in Stockland Green arrest over 125 people for crimes relating to drugs, vehicles, theft and other disorder. It was recently reported that Slade Road in Stockland Green is the roughest street in Britain.

The cost of living crisis has forced the two cocktail bars in Birmingham City Centre to shut shop. The Pineapple Club - ranked as the 14th best cocktail bar in the country - announced that they have ceased trading alongside Shibuya Underground both in the Great Western Arcade.

The devastating Turkey-Syria earthquake has prompted hundreds across Birmingham and the West Midlands to respond to pleas to help the victims. International charity ISRA UK, based in Sparkhill, launched an appeal for clothes, sanitary items and essential provisions to be sent over to the disaster stricken region.
