In 2017, after secondary school, Olivier DISSEH encouraged his father to enrol him in a technical school to be trained in agriculture, which is his passion.

He obtained his Diploma of Agricultural and Tropical Studies (DEAT) in 2021, and set up his field to put his training into practice in a banana plantation, which is now productive.

To vary his production, he has combined his banana plantation with maize and chilli. He also fishes during the periods of the year when his plantation is less fertile.

Despite the difficulties he faces, mainly access to finance and materials, lack of labour and flooding, Olivier DISSEH is proud of his activity and wishes to pass on his love of the land to his children as his parents did for him.
