BJP on the back foot in Tripura: TMC leader
  • last year
Trinamool Congress minister Shashi Panja on February 5 took a swipe at the ruling BJP, saying that the party is on the "back foot" in Tripura. “They changed their CM in the state one year ahead of the elections. This gave a message that no work was done in 4 years. BJP has done nothing for the youth or teachers in the state. This is a 'jumla' govt,” she told ANI. She added that TMC's manifesto for the state assembly polls states highlights several development works including roads, colleges, hospitals and water supply.
