After Uttarakhand's Joshimath, panic gripped Kashmir's Doda as several houses developed cracks. Cracks started appearing in Nayi Basti, a residential township in Thathri area of the district. According to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Doda, Athar Amin Zargar, the cracks had started appearing in a house in December 2022 and have now started to aggravate.
