More than 20 years later, the Fast & Furious franchise is still going strong, with the release of the upcoming 10th installment now only a handful of months away. Diesel's Dominic Toretto and his ragtag crew of drivers, which includes Gibson's Roman Pearce, have gone from humble street racers to one level short of full-on superheroes, using a variety of vehicles to take down crime lords and thwart terrorist plots. Fast X is expected to be the penultimate entry in the franchise, seeing Dom's crew face off against a new villain played by Jason Momoa.
Not long after Diesel teased the upcoming release of the first Fast X trailer, the actor has now taken to social media to share a tribute to Gibson. Diesel's Instagram post, which includes a behind-the-scenes photo of him and Gibson at a beach in Turks and Caicos, also features a touching caption reflecting on their time in the franchise and reveals that they're currently gearing up to tour the world to promote Fast X, which Diesel calls "the Finale". Gibson also comments on the post, speaking very highly of Diesel, his "brother."
