Considering the unexpected exit came after shooting had already begun, plus the high-profile cast additions of Brie Larson and Jason Momoa, Fast X was expected to have a significant budget – yet recent reports suggest that the movie will be even bigger than anticipated.
According to The Wrap, the budget for Fast X is now close to $340 million. As a comparison, Avengers: Infinity War, which was also the first of a two-part finale, cost $316 million. Given how massive that movie was, from the visuals to the large set of characters, the fact that the Fast & Furious 10 budget is bigger than Avengers: Infinity War’s reveals how ambitious the sequel will be.
