What facilities will Umrah pilgrims get in the cheap insurance package?
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said that the reduction in the price of the complete Umrah insurance package for pilgrims from abroad is a good move. Its price was 235.57 Rials, which has been reduced to 87.4 Rials. According to newspaper 24, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said in a statement that Umrah pilgrims from outside the country will have to pay only 87.4 riyals for the complete insurance package. Visitors must obtain the insurance package through visa processing prior to arrival in the country. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah says that 'Umrah pilgrims will be covered under the complete insurance package for all kinds of emergencies such as medical examination, medicine, hospital treatment and food and facilities in case of injuries in traffic accidents. Dialysis cases, pregnancy and childbirth emergencies, emergency dental treatment and air ambulance facility within and outside the state. Coverage for death and accidental total disability due to natural calamities will also be part of the insurance package. Repatriation of the deceased, accidental death and payment of dowry on court judgment will also be made under the insurance package. The Ministry says that the coverage of travel issues is included in the Umrah Pilgrim's complete insurance package. For example, compensation will be given for flight delay, flight cancellation etc.
All these facilities will be given to the insured under the Umrah insurance package and compensation up to one lakh riyals will be paid.
