The recent cases of child abuse should have all of us questioning what red flags were ignored that could’ve prevented these at-risk children from being abused. These alarming cases come on the back of news that the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry will soon establish a dedicated department for children. Will this help prevent abuse of at-risk children before it happens?
