Consider This: Children (Part 1) - Research on Online Sexual Abuse Risks
  • tahun lalu
A report on online child sexual exploitation and abuse, based on a survey by Unicef & its partners, had found that in the past year alone, 100,000 internet-using children aged 12 to 17 in Malaysia have been subjected to clear instances of online child sexual exploitation and abuse. This includes but not limited to: being blackmailed to engage in sexual activities, or being coerced to do so through promises of money or gifts; and/or having their sexual images shared without their permission. And of that figure, half of them had no idea how to report the crime. Melisa Idris speaks to Saskia Blume, Chief of Child Protection at Unicef Malaysia, about the “Disrupting Harm” project.
