GPs and pharmacists raise concern about national supply

A nationwide shortage of some common antibiotics is preventing many people from accessing essential medication. Several antibiotics used as firstline treatments for pneumonia, strep throat and other infections are in short supply, or not available at all. Many pharmacists must find alternatives to meet the shortfall including mixing their own compounds.
